no, i definately get the rear wheel way up, i've had other people give me compliments on my stoppies. I need to keep practicing the wheelies, hopefully by next summer i'll be killin it. I'm not putting the bike up for the winter and I am supposedly getting an f3 from my friend to beat on.

Re: stoppies less scary then wheelies

i would say wheelies are less fearful because of the back brake.... when i bought my bike i would just pop them up and put them down but i do them mostly standing up.... but stoppies there is no brake that can save you... i havent been riding alot im a noob but getting muscle memorey with using the back brake has made me more confident to ride them out

i also went *** over on a stoppie thursday night....

Re: stoppies less scary then wheelies

on my bike i dont know about yours but if i get up and have my body straight up with my bike with my knees hugging the tank i learned they start to sketch out so where you have your *** makes the wheelie.... on my bike im sure yours is somewhat the same

Re: stoppies less scary then wheelies

thats funny cause i am working on getting my wheelies down pat but just the thought of endos kills me...the thought of fliping forward in front of the bike scares the crap out of me but i feel comfortable on wheelies.... ..

Re: stoppies less scary then wheelies

stoppies were the first thing i really learned and had on lock when i first started riding :YEAH. Then came the day i flipped a stoppie . Had to happen sooner or later, then i was a little sketchy until i got back into the groove of things.
