Re: 600rr front end on f4i
If you put a 600rr front end on an f4i the forks are shorter and if you put your clip ons on top of the triple then the front tire will hit the radiator when you come down from a wheelie but hohey has a top triple to fix that or you can run db bars

Re: 600rr front end on f4i
I'm sure you got it all figured out by now..
but ya, bearings are same, and if one has tapered, then just swap the races also..
But I'd go ahead and buy all ***** tapered bearings while your at it, if you don't already have tapered bearings..
You also gotta cut off the steering stem stops, and drill holes in the lower triple, and run bolts through it for the new steering stop.. Otherwise you can't turn as far

yup yup, what is boils down to is the front end i got has tapered bearings, my frame however has the oem f4i ball bearing races...so i just need to order the frame races thats all...the steering stops have already been cut back
its the steering stem diameter that is the same on all hondas...but you have different types of bearings..alot of people seem to get that confused i guess....me included until now

Re: 600rr front end on f4i
If your going to be learning stoppies dont half *** it with the bearings. Shitty used head bearings caused me to get major headshake almost every time and that was with a stabilizer. For less than 30 bucks you can get a new set a tapered bearings. I got mine at from High Output.
