F4i front end options

F4i front end options
I wanted to run 900rr rear and front wheel, is that possible in any way?
while changing my wheels might as well swap out the f4i front end.
What front ends will work with the f4i?
What do you guys recommend?
I have searched a few days so far with no results on a front wheel swap, but see it everywhere.

Re: F4i front end options
I run a 1000rr front end off a '06 and its baller. But I have the Hohey top triple, and that makes the differance! The 929/954 front ends are great, I had a 954 front on my bike first. (The reason I switched was because I got the entire 1000rr front end for $300.) Anyways from my experience, they are both good, but lower the front end of the bike about 2-3". 1" with the Hohey. I like the look of the bigger front ends and the brake systems but durability wise I think the stock front end with thicker fork oil is just as good.
Hope my opinion helps a lil. Oh if you get a 1000rr front end you need the triple from a 929/954.
I have heard of some people using yamaha front ends too. But never really looked deep into it.

Re: F4i front end options
You can use pretty much any 50mm front end when you use the 929/954 top and bottom tripple clamps.
My last 3 and current F4i's have all gotten 954 Front ends and I like them alot.
You can also do the 1000RR, GSXR1000, R1, etc.
To run the 900RR rear wheel you need the 900RR or F4 rear hub.
The front wheel is just a matter of using the right rotors and bearings.
Your front fender will also depend on which set of forks you buy.

I JUST PICKED UP A F4i and it came with 07 600rr inverts... its so fresh...
but my friend has a 929 front end... i wouldnt recommend the 900rr wheel .. because its hard finding cheap tires.
