are you doing sit downs or stand ups?
sit down you'll lose sight REAL fast, even before BP I think..
standups though, if your losing site, your just about to hitting 12!
I know when I do staggards, as soon as the road dissipears in front of me, im close to scraping

am doing sitdowns.....i do SS ( staggered stand ) but am 6 4" so I have no problem seeing over my bike and am no where near 12'ing my bike

lean back, be smooth. peek around to the side or through the fork tubes. or go SF if you want and it makes a huge difference.
