gas out the bottom of the tank = FAIL

probably knocked the pump out or tore some sheet metal down there.

Re: tank dent gone wrongg!!

dude thats a bitch, i would say just take the tank off and pep what its lookin like underneath, its simple to take ur gass tank off, all i did to dent my tank was put it up on swingarm stand and hold the ceiling or somethin so u don **** up and jump on the wrong part, and just with both feet jump on it and pound it in, once u get a good shape take the mallet and carefully go around and contour it the way u want it...
mines not too bad and i was **** faced when i did it haha just watched a thing on youtube that showed what i just described..
what year bandit is it? and post picks!

Re: tank dent gone wrongg!!

I've just started my dent on my 07, so far so good-cut the splash gaurd out(didn't blow myself up), started the beginning of the dent on the back third of the gas cap and stopped it's dark and hard to see with the shadows. My denting tool is a rubber coat 2-3 dumb bell and a folder T shirt. Just need to wait for day light.
Hopefully you just have some over flow of gas.

I think this is why your tank spilt out gas

Were you stoned while denting it in?
