oh i hear ya bro and i totally agree, i was just trying to help diognose that issue he was having wit his idle , i love trees to but they dont stop oil from coming out of the crankcase and pooping into ur airbox and causing a huydrolock. i know cuz it happened to back in 2002 . when ur doin alot of 12s on idle or just doing wheelies for distance your oil lite will come on because the motor will starve for oil because the oil pickup comes down and back then bends forward to the front of the oil pan as you probably know cuz u said u have a oil pickup also and when u run the 3and a half quarts the factory recomends the stock oil pickup comes out of the oil at 12 oclock so the word was back then was to run a extra half a quart so it would stay submerged so i did that and i was on the freeway filming a distance wheelie and my motor started smoking so i set it down and got off the freeway thinking i better let it cool off and i shut the bike off and my dumb *** wondering what it could be ,,,, my bike had great oil pressure but that **** went into my airbox and when i shut it off it went down the throttle boddies and when i went to start it bang it locked. so long story short i learned the hard way for gsxr stunt bikes run extra oil and vent the case. now a days they have oil pickups back then they dident so i got a pickup and run a little extra oil anyways cuz that stupid wheelie cost me 800 bucks and i wouldent wish that on any fellow stunter.
