97 GSXR 600 It has all the body panels and runs, just rough. I drained the carb bowls, put in some fresh gas, and spark plugs to see if it would run and it did. It still runs rough, so probably needs some some seafoam run through the tank. I would also recommend replacing the tire's. The bike sat for two years prior to me buying it two months ago. he wants 1200

im a noob to stuntin and i know gsxr are not the best to stunt but should i pick this up or hope that something better comes my way?(bike is 4hrs away)

****** it. You can stunt anything and that is cheap as ****.

I would still offer 900 and see where he stands. then offer 1000.

If nothing else you should be able to clean it up and resell for a couple more hundy.

 

i would go for it. if it has a clean title anyway. i want my **** to be legal for road use too. if you dont care about the streets, go for it. do like the previous guy said though and only offer like 900. with some luck, he will drop. the guy i bought my bike from wanted 3600 and i got it for 2700.

 

not sure if the title is clean or how many miles but i just sent the guy and email... he said he wanted 1500 but he'll take 1200 to cut the bs... so if the title clean and he's firm on 12 should i get?

 

yeah i dont think i would pay MORE then 900 if it isnt running good, doesnt have stunt parts... and its a 11 year old gixxer

i see what youre saying, but from the looks of it, this guy is short on cash in the first place. that frame is probably out of the price range if things are like i think they are.

and i agree with what the other guy said. for an 11 almost 12 year old bike, if it doesnt run pretty good and have some nice parts on there, the 1200 may be a bit high.

 

id keep your 1200 for something newer and just add the 200 or 300 to it that you would spend on it to get it right and buy one of them clean title f4i miracle deals if not id just get a clean title f3 for cheap and you would still have money left over

save your money..i pick up f4i's on the right day for $2000ish...look at my avatar..under $2000 bike

 

I would spend a grand at most on that bike. and if it dont have a clean title its not worth ****. a frame with a clean title is 700 to 2000 and stunt parts will run you a 1000 if not more all depends on what you get.

see the f4i in my avatar! i payed 800 for it and it ran mint. 750 for a clean frame and i made my stunt parts but i still payed 500 in sprocket and hand break system.

 

hold out for somethin nicer bro...

 

buy it, clean the carbs, wash it, and resell it for a grand more.
That's what I would do. Don't know if you know how to clean the carbs but if u do, it's simple.

 

i don't want to go out of state and buy a bike... and its hard to find any cheap stunt/street bikes for sell in tx (for me anyway) everyone wants way to much $ or else the bikes are stock and slightly messed up like this one.
still not sure what i'm gonna do...
