kick stand switch
do they go bad or whats the deal with my bike. it starts and runs fine but as soon as i put it in gear it kills . any ideas is much need because i wanna go to to yo face . :YEAH

make sure your kickstand is all the way up or just unplug the switch ...
some you can just unplug and others need to have the two wires connected so unplug it and see if the bike runs in gear , if not then connect the two wires

i believe you need to close the loop (connect the two together).

i did disconnect it . but i always scared about cutting wires that keep my bike running . ill try just making a jumper first before i cut it . thanks omr and stock

either way, my original point was if you have an idea its the kickstand switch, then try it.
i understand you might not know much about bikes, but its a plug if it doesnt work then you can plug it back in. i would really like to see what you would have done without the net?

cutting should always be a last resort.

not sure what you mean but the wwires coming from the bike have prongs in it and the wires going to the switch is female .

your connectors should look similar to these-
turn them so they face each other then slide one side into the other-
then crimp down on them a little so they dont slide out easily.
