having problems with wheelie...need help!!

might be a dumb question...but when i wheelie i kick the bike up a gear accidentally and the bike comes down...i can get the front up easily but my left foot always kicks it into the next gear....would love some advice please....thanx

Do staggered wheelies. By this I mean put your left foot on the left passenger peg, and do work.

Keep your foot away from the shifter perhaps.

and yea, +1 on staggered.

well if youre doin first gear wheelies just put your foot on top of the shifter, instead of under, or stagger em, thats the easiest way to do it anyways

Try different shoes/boots , maybe ?
Try moving shifter 1 spline ?

I'd just adjust the shifter peg up...... I think that may be what BLUEGIXXER is saying too.
In all reality you really should be learnin staggerd or foot in seat, no use for the old school style anymore.
