Re: bike question
Hard to find parts and by that I mean stunt parts and replacement parts, I you can try to find something newer like a 636 or a F4i this is what I wastold because there are alot of parts available for them and alot of people stunt them so you can fin decent deals on the bike itself already setup to stunt, I have the same prob I have a Buell which sucks assall around not a good bike for anything inless you like wasting money.
Good luck.
Good luck.

Re: bike question
dump that bike...get something fuel injected , i dont like f4i's because there heavy uder powered and are getting harder and harder to find parts for because the only made them for a few years with the solo seat so that subframe is getting harder to find and so are rear rims,
i recomend a 03-08 r6 type s or a 636 03-07... they both have tons of power and are light the 636 has a stronger sub frame but the down fall is 03-05 and 06-07 are different and alot of the parts dont fit so getting parts is a little harder and cost more $ the r6 type s however is the same from 03-08 and all parts are interchangeable..i bought a whole bike wrecked for $800....and i have never had a problem with my subframe and ive hit it hard a few times.....

Re: bike question
I can't even sell it I owe WAY too much, and I may have liked it if I had it when it was new but it's been ragged and I over payed ALOT which is my own fault but I think it would be ok just too ride if I did not want to stunt and I had gotten a good deal on it but sometimes you just get fucked cause you can't wait for a good deal, well I did anyway.

Well the biggest lesson to be learned is that if you want a street bike to stunt, you need a seperate aka crunch piece. A stunt bike you ride on the street as a DD is just asking for more tickets, and breaking down on the side of the road. I was riding my buddy's SV stunter as a DD when I was in a bad pinch, and the subframe broke going over a speed bump. Two years of stunting and the subframe snapped then..... You never know.
A DD and a crunch is the best way to go.... 2 bikes for 2 plans
What is wrong with the Buell? What is ragged about it? I have a lot of experience with them, and would be able to help you with whatever is wrong with it.
The front rotor isn't prone to warping, but it does happen time to time
The front pads wear unevenly sometimes, causing a pulsing in brakes. Clean out the caliper with brake clean and flush brakes with every oil change, and it'll be top notch.
Rear brakes are golden
Valves are self adjusting, so no worries there.
The TPS on those bikes have been known to be a bitch.
The FI is unfriendly to changes in air, fuel, exhaust. Getting bike reflashed and the TPS reset with any aftermarket pieces cleans it up.
The spark plugs need replaced every oil change if you like crisp response. Use the Buell plugs, they last the longest. And always with motor woes, check that girl first.
The clutch takes 5 minutes to adjust internally. Get a manual or PM me, and I'll tell you how to do it. Gravy, and keeping on top of that makes it feel so much better. every oil change for it as well.
I see you don't have pucks in avatar. Do whatever it takes and puck her ASAP. A scratch pretty much totals it out.

Re: bike question
Well the frame/tank had a dent and scratches in it when I got it I did not think about it at the time but if I have to make a claim on my insurance it will total leaving me with a remaining bal owed on the loan, and I just payed way too much. I'm not trying to stunt it by the way the avatar is just me playing in front of my house that is the most I've done on it I am trying to get a 02 zx6 to stunt.

Re: bike question
nothing wrong with that bike for learning wheelies..... give it here.... I'll rip that thing down the interstate for miles!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
you dont just jump on an F4i or 636 and start learning "tricks" you need to learn how to handle whatever bike you are on and learn street wheelies on a stock bike. I dont know why everyone has to do **** backwards these days.

Re: bike question
knock on wood........ I've had to pick up a bunch of DD/stunters off the side of the road.
An 02 zx6 isn't too bad of a bike, but I would suggest FI..... It's more consistent come lot time. And if you're patient you can find a nice one really cheap as well.
