Bigger Sprocket...What Chain???
I know you can't justify what exact length of chain you need with out having the stuff on the bike but by estimation would a 150 link be long enough for a 63 rear and a 14 front? I'm thinking no...but HAI's site says a 150 will generaly fit +20.......it would really help if anyone had a constructive responds....thank you!!!

Re: Bigger Sprocket...What Chain???
Some bikes use 112 links stock, so if they go more than 16 up on a stock front sprocket, a 120 wont fit.
My buddy put a +15 on his 1000rr (don't ask why b/cause I don't even know) and it took a longer chain.

Re: Bigger Sprocket...What Chain???
I had -1 +2 and then I went with a 67 tooth on my R6 and I think I only needed 6 more links on my chain. I would say that a 120 would fit but a 150 will Def. fit on that setup.

Here's a link to a chain calculator. You'll need to know the center to center measurement between sprockets. You can find several calculators if you do a search or if you're ambitious, you can find the formula for how to do the math yourself. I prefer the calculator:YEAH

Re: Bigger Sprocket...What Chain???
When I ordered my 62tooth sprocket from sprocket specialties, i used the calculator and it was helpful then doing the math my hand.
So if your lazy or want reassurance then use the calculator.
