what do you think about the Buell XB12Scg

I was thinking about getting a Buell to just ride and not stunt well just basic stoppies and wheelies. Has anyone ever ridden one? What are your thoughts anything would be helpfull

never ridden one... but I've ridden with some buells. looks horrible to me. Stopped at a light and the thing rattles and shakes like a wet dog while at idle. I've heard they smooth out when they rev up... and I Once saw a guy do a little wheelie on one on the street, not sure of the exact model but it was a 1200 something

The harley dealers here have had a couple of ok shows that made the buells look good, but of course they are not telling you how often they have to be repaired rebuilt etc, when they are factory sponsored they can beat on them and not worry about it.

i have not ridden that bike, but have ridden a few buells, they wheelie very easy in my opinion.

Re: what do you think about the Buell XB12Scg

Im looking for something different every time I get a street bike before the end of the summer it always becomes a second stunt piece.

It seems like the popular one is the XB9 but the XB12 looks cool, i need to find out how they are on the street and what the service/parts cost. After watching the vids I know how this will end

Re: what do you think about the Buell XB12Scg

i honestly think they would be pretty good at stunting....gobs of low end torque, big disk front brakes, and lots of engine brake.

Re: what do you think about the Buell XB12Scg

buells are insanely ugly, i think you should grab like a speed tripple or something like that looks halfway decent but still different than what every other stunt rider has. but if you like em go for it i guess

Re: what do you think about the Buell XB12Scg

I had a XB9R and absolutely loved it. Was a great street killer. but they are slightly fragile. All in all i would say go for it.

Re: what do you think about the Buell XB12Scg

Doesn't Rotax make all the motors now? If they are no longer Harley motors I would look at getting one. Rode an earlier xb12 and it was an ok bike, at least for a street piece.
