Re: choppin off heads!

sic j- when has he said he is sponsored by Kawi direct? He got a couple bikes from a dealer that has sponsored him for years... Which is no different than racing sponsorships and the zx program...getting a free bike ain't **** these days, it's the perks after the free bikes and show bookings, there is so much hate in this thing we call a sport comp riders are awesome riders that put heart and soul in riding but are comps where factories want to invest money? Me riding at a local race track with 5000 people in the stands is more benificial than 1k people at a comp in their eyes it's sad but true time to work on your resumes guys cuase tis the season!!!

Re: choppin off heads!

there's only 2 riders in this country making a good living off this "sport"

-jason britton

-bubba blackwell

most of you don't even know who bubba blackwell is, everybody at xdl could out ride him this past weekend-he's the ONLY factory sponsored Harley Davidson Buell rider.....but there's a lot more to stunt riding than just showing up at the lot every day to practice technical tricks that the average crowd would give two ***** about.

Re: choppin off heads!

I wouldn't want to have that job as a pro factory rider. I would rather be a real stunter.

So is his Kawi Sponsorship like his Monster Sponsorship he bragged about that paid him 30,000gs, and then when it came time for him to pitch in for gas, his card not only got declined but he still only filled the tank half up? He's faking the funk.......

2nd you doing a show infront of 5000 RACE fans does not get more attention or is more beneficial than the 15 riders in the finals this past weekend. True, there may have only been 1000 people there, BUT CycleWorld, Superbikes, Two-wheel Tuner and several other magazines where there. ALSO very important figures from Aprillia, Alpinestars, KBC and various other manufactors were there.

Now before you go and say you were on Superbikes and had almost your whole episode, REMEMBER that this isn't the first time Superbikes has covered a competition that most of the Finals riders were at.

SO now tell me how you still think your show in Wisconsin at a track is more beneficial and more covered than the XDL Series that was at the MOTO GP race in Indianapolis this past weekend???

im not trying to start **** with you, as far as im concerned you and I are cool with each other. Im just curious how your thought process was working when you typed that?

Kane- i do not believe he has a real occupation

AAron Colton-pretty sure hes not bagging groceries during the week.

I believe there is another buell Rider in Cali that Kane talks about that murders it all year long with shows and does well for himself

Death Squad- while struggling, im pretty sure these are some of the hardest working men in our industry. I would be surprised if they had jobs cause they rarely are home or showered for that matter (i kid i kid about the showers boys!)

Plus you forget about all the other riders who HALF or more of their income comes from riding and Sponsors!

i would have to have ALL of my contacts AND friends at ducati tell me this to my face to believe this.

without even knowing the score, i can say that it is bs.

a company like ducati doesnt just jump up and start sponsoring someone, especially someone who doesnt reallly compete...no matter how many shows you do.

believe you me, ducati is interested in having a top rider do demos, not someone with a knack for fabricating half truths.

how do i know? because i've met with / ridden for / discussed stunting/sponsorship with the people who make that decision at ducati quite a bit over the past two years. now i ride for bmw exclusively...

so if this is true and tony is running around telling people he's sponsored (or about to lock down a sponsorship) by ducati, then he needs to check himself and shut his mouth.

and that has nothing to do with show vs comp riders....

as for monster...you'd think that out of ANYONE monster can sponsor, it might be one of the 2 factory kawi riders, kane or britton...c'mon now!

there is a difference between the factory and a dealership, the corporation and the local rep...

ride on.....

Re: choppin off heads!

one more thing ry, comps ARE where factories want to see results...afterall, they have racing and winning bred into them, so yes, xdl and other comps are important to factories. its not the only thing by any means, but it is a significant part of it. and thats why our sport is so marketable...we have the comps and then we have the shows/appearances...whens the last time someone did anything on a race bike besides race it or look at it on the rear stand.

at every bmw show i do, they are soooo proud of my 08 stuntwars win...and it wasn't even on a bmw! they are def interested in how i fare at xdl and they want a winner for sure! pfeiffer didn't get where he got by being the best talker....
