dont do it!!!

my dad was riding on a brand new shinko stealth the night he died. pos tire blew out like the firestone tires were doing. the tire(part that touches the ground) seperated from the sidewalls and rapped around the his swingarm and locked the rear up.....slammed him to the ground and into the guardrail twice killing him.

 

im sorry to hear that man, did you guys sue shinko or what? was there a recall on that tire? how long ago was thatt?

 

it happened aug of 05. my mother never looked into it and i contacted a lawyer but they never got back to me. she was to torn up by it to even look into it and i dont really want to bring it back up now.

i dont know if there was a recall on the tire but we think they knew something was wrong with the tires. he had be using the tires for a while and they were expensive then next thing you know they all dropped to half of the retail price everywhere....that doesnt make sense

 

I have a set of 003s and pretty sure I am ordering another set this week. ****** love em. Stick stoppies like glue and got the ganster lean in the circles. I don't go over 50 on my stunt bike anyway so I don't give a **** if they are unsafe for high speeds. 180 shipped for both sign me up!
