Action film; 2 sick Wheelie riders needed! Is that you?

Re: Action film; 2 sick Wheelie riders needed! Is that you?
Great point. I'd like to get paid too, but how do you get paid? Let's see, well unless you are already a star you get paid by being recognized by the right people. Exposure is the key to success. You are not going to get paid hiding on some forum. Being in a professionally produced video is extremely valuable asset. When I was starting out I had nothing to show, just talk and I got no respect. Then I dropped the ego and started doing projects like this and put together a reel and tried to get as much exposure as I could. Did I do paid work? Sure, I made like $3000 in 2 weeks one time, but the REALLY cool work that made me was mostly stuff I did for the love of it. Blah, blah, blah. This attitude opened a lot of doors for me and I won't even bore you with what those doors were so people can question them. Let's just say I'm doing ok now and celebrities don't impress me anymore. Not much does. It's been a hell of a ride!
Anyway, I have since moved to a much more..ummm..beneficial line of work now, but my passion for Bikes and visual effects still remains.
If people have doubts about what I can do, PM me and I'll show you my proffesional broadcast/film real. If thats not enough, then I'll just post the video when it's done so people can see what they missed out on and that this was for real.
I really thought this forum was just people having fun, I did not know people here are trying to be pro stunters.

I don't know man, But anyone who is supposedly professional and really wants to make something like this happen would ignore the People who are putting it/the idea down and MAKE IT HAPPEN. But I can tell your really just some stupid **** with to much time on his hands.
I don't think you have done anything that you say your have, I don't think you have any credentials and I don't think people on here want to be on some home made video you and your friends are making. (Maybe Nate (50outlaw) would do it for A hot pocket though lol)

You need credentials for me to spend months of my time making you shine and to buy you lunch? I'm just doing this for the love of it man, you probably won't be down with it. Talk to me if you just love to ride and would love to have a hot HD DVD with you doing your thing to have with you forever and not pay a dime, otherwise thanks for the response.

Re: Action film; 2 sick Wheelie riders needed! Is that you?
Well, first of all I'm a visual effects artist, not a producer. I just make people's videos look hot and make people walk through walls and crap. I don't normally do casting or work with talent. That is the producer/directors job. To be more accurate a casting director would do the recruiting and since I'm not one, maybe I just suck at that part, but I'll admit it.
I left the bizz because I started around 911. That was a tough time for even the best of us in a highly competitive business what simply being "hot" is not enough. For example you know how many GREAT musicians are struggling just to eat while crappy artist are making millions? Fortunately I did better than most, but I left the bizz for a few reasons:
Stability(gig to gig sucks even if you are good; I need stability)
Even normal(non-creative) jobs were hard to come by back then
Twice the cash I was making back then
For the record I have no reason to try and impress you or anyone. People I want to work with could careless about all that crap. They just love to ride and are down with the oppertuity. As for home video, you must really think I'm the ultimate looser to go through all this for some corny *** home video shot with K-mark cameras and no sense of direction or storyline or concept.
Thanks for the motivation though. Now I have the additional prize of proving people like you wrong. Gotta stay open minded man, you never know. Not everybody is trying to trick you.

Well I'm going to call BS on everything you have said so far because if you were serious and really did all that **** you listed/Worked behind the scene's at all those places, Then you would know how to be patient and how to deal with people or maybe that's why your not still working for them??

You're in Alaska..lol
If I were going to seriously take on a project of the scale of getting riders from that far, I'd do a car video. Bikes are too much trouble from a production standpoint if you want the achieve the level I do.

You should come out to Hollywood's Block Party, you'll pretty much see all of those in one place.
Crews: Jersey, Philly, Boston, Hartford, Long Island, Brooklyn, Upstate...
and then some
Stunting - no doubt
Female riders - absolutely
Riding clubs - lots of them
Cruising through the hood
defintely get that, about 300-500+ bikes
Police chase
good possibility

With all your expertise in the visual effects field why dont you prove it and post a few pics of your work a person with those stations behind them would surely have a portfolio of something, wouldnt you?

Re: Action film; 2 sick Wheelie riders needed! Is that you?
Do you have any trailers from anything that you have worked on? I'd like to see some of the MTV, BET or ABC footage, just out of curiosity, not doubt.

Re: Action film; 2 sick Wheelie riders needed! Is that you?
Yes I do, but thats from like 7 years ago. Thats so old now. I'm just getting back on the scene now. Considering the kind of responses I've gotten I also don't want to put all that information out there. I don't want people who will only get involved because of who I may or may not know and what connections I may have. Either you just love to ride and are down or I doubt you'll have time in between your next blockbuster movie for my little production. My results will be hot and everyone involved will definitely be glad they did, but I can't compete with what a pro rider that needs to see credentials can get. I'm good but I aint that good. When I give credentials that means I'm getting my $100/hour rate that I normally charge, however I usually don't need credentials because people typically will already know what I offer and either want it or not.

Re: Action film; 2 sick Wheelie riders needed! Is that you?
I don't want to post my portfolio on a site like this, but I can do a new output of my old reel and post it on youtube or something. PM your email and I'll send you the link when it's done. You won't see any bikes in my professional work though. It's all 30 second spots like what you see during the commercial breaks during your favorite show. Logo treatments with logos flying around and stuff like that. Also effects like glowing eyes and lightning bolts coming out of fingers(much higher level than Wink's bolts).
Posting my work here would guarantee me responses like:
"Oh please, thats not your work. If could do that then you wouldn't need to be on here begging for riders to do wheelies...riders would be chasing you down."
"Wow, now I really know you are a big fake. There is no WAY you can do that, you are too pathetic for that"
Really don't need to prove anything so, I wouldn't bother.
Give me some time, I'm still rebuilding my studio since all my gear is antiquated by now. Good thing prices have come down, but hey are still up there. My software that costed $1500 back then is now $999 now. Which would be much better if I did not just upgrade all my riding gear for the track and wasn't doing a lot of work on my bike for track. I mean my gear cost more than my KLR 250 EASY. I'm going to have to make a lot of sacrifices for this production so you can see why I may get a little bothered by unsupportive responses. I'm not going to sweat over a video for people that can't even be respectful so thats why I'm not jumping to show off to entice riders. Either you down or you not, that how I look at it.

Re: Action film; 2 sick Wheelie riders needed! Is that you?
Curious...have there been many posers on here making bogus claims about videos? People seem geniunaly suspicious and paranoid.
Personally I just love to ride. I don't need to see anything. Worst case for me is I have a great ride to a bogus video shoot that look likes garbage but reguardless I had a great ride as usual and I get a video that might be good for laughs or a blury memory that I may or may not want to keep. I'm down for anything bikes man, don't have to ask me twice much less beg me.
See you gotta understand me. I'm the type of guy that if I was a celebrity you would never recognize me in public cause I'd always make sure I look very different on FILM/TV. If I had a lambo, I would pick up a girl in my Celica. In fact many people that know me would be surprised about many of the things I've experienced but keep to myself. I don't want anyone who is around me because of what I've done or have. Groupies suck. People around me need to be real and not just looking to get something out of me. When I was younger I was always trying to be "cool" and show off, but then I grew up. Just think people here think I'm showing off and trying to make myself out to be something I'm not, but I have
not even really said anything or even shown anything. If I wanted to front I'd have much more to say and would be showing you either my work or somebody else's, but I'm not doing either.

Great video! That only touches on some of what I want to. There is much more to what I'm doing. Besides, like I said it's for fun. I'm not competing or anything. My mission is to produce a really cool video and have fun doing it. Thanks for posting that though.
