12 bar trend?

i just saw the 5th dude rockin a 12 bar on the street with no scratches at all..
i hit 2 of'em up with "hey u stunt?"
and they both answered with "nah, i dont wanna mess up my bike"
..so then whats the 12 bar for if u never plan on using it?
..this **** just bugged me out.

Re: 12 bar trend?

its not a 12 bar! it a wheelie safety bar for when it loops out to save the rear fairing!

But what if he's a racist. Does that count?

And +1 for anyone who buys one whether they use it or not. Its still helping out stunting as a whole.

****, when people ask me if I stunt I always say "I try" haha

Re: 12 bar trend?

at stuntwars I walked down the line of bikes from people who rode there checking out the bikes. must of seen at least a dozen minty r1's and whatever else with untouched 12 bars

people see it and want to be apart of the action or something...

**** when I first learned to scrape it was the tail section of a f3 lol

Re: 12 bar trend?

Maybe they just want ppl to think they stunt. Thats the first thing I do one anything new of mine. I had to scratch up the tail light of my gsxr just to let ppl know I know wtf im doing. cant be riding a clean 12 or round.
