Re: 929/954 owners

I have a 929 & 954 and both say 900RR. I was also worried, but I guess b/c these bikes were based on the 900R the title hasn't changed. They really should do something about though.

I think it depends on the state

either way, people need to quit worrying about it and quit posting up, if its a 929 its a 929, if its a 954 its a 954, and if its a 900rr its a 900rr!

I guess I'm wrong..

I've seen a lot of 929/954 titles though and never seen one not say 900RR

Re: 929/954 owners

It says Right on the frame CBR900RR(in small letters) then the year. The 929 and 954 have only subttle changes, brakes, fairrings, and shorter and lighter piston Ect. It is still a 900rr block. You can technically make something more CC's by putting a longer connecting rod on the piston or boaring out the cylinders.

Putting a longer rod in doesn't increase the displacement, in fact for a given block you generally lose displacement with a longer rod. a longer throw crank increases displacement and requires using a shorter rod.
