ok here is the thing what would happen if i put a 49 state ecu in a cali model bike?

 

I could be mistaken, but you should be ok.

As far as I know, the only differences on a Cali bike is all emissions related. You might have to disconnect the o2 sensor and some emissions related solenoids from the new ECU, but other than that I think you will be fine. The bike should normally run clean enough to get you through yearly emissions inspections without the additional components.

Then again, I could be completely wrong.

This sounds like a question that should've been asked at a dealership...... But if it's your 954 it won't be an issue.
