toughtechnologies "cages"

has anybody had any first hand experience or heard anything about their "cages"? They make these "race rails/cages" as they call them which is pretty much just the upper part of a cage without rolling under the bottom of the bike, just wondering how strong they are and if they will hold up any better than just frame sliders.... here is their website www.toughtechnologies.com for an 06/07 gsxr6. Thanks

Re: toughtechnologies "cages"

tough technologys looks like a 'tough version' of plastic sliders.. or a shitty version of a cage!

They would be fine for a daily driver.. But a stunter thats getting slammed into the pavement, I bet they would fold!

btw if you go with a cage like SI, they don't go under the bike, they go through the bike, so can still drag pegs in the turns, but have a fully functional cage.

It's just all about what you wanna do.. Have some protection from the occasional low side on the street/ track.. or somthing that'll hold up to dropping your bike from 12 in a lot
