Re: 05 06 636 front tire Q?

I run a standard 120/70 and never really thought about the fact that its not the stock size. Good question I suppose... I haven't noticed it to be a problem or an advantage, but I have never compared to the correct size

if you can feel the difference in 5 mm id be thoroughly amazed. my r6 came with a 120/60 and i switched to the standard 120/70 and couldnt tell the difference, same thing with both my 636's that came with 120/65.

Use a 120/70. That's what most people are running. It's not going to be a huge difference. The tire is a tad taller and the bike won't turn into curves quite as fast but we are talking about a very small amount of extra energy required. If you are using it for stunting then it won't be a problem at all. Instead of the sidewall being 78mm it will be 84mm. 65% of 120 being 78mm and 70% or 120 being 84mm.
