Sprocket Question
I have an 03 f4i that I want to learn wheelies on. i don't plan on doing the 4 mph wheelies anytime soon but I would like to gear it up so i can do them at parking lot speeds. I also want to keep my max speed as high as possible. Any suggestions?

Re: Sprocket Question
I just got this bike and the chain and sprocket are rusted up so i thought i'd buy a larger one but stock sprocket it is. Anybody have a stock tooth sprocket and chain they want to unload?

Re: Sprocket Question
If you already need a chain and sprockets I would go up 5-7 in the back and stay stock in the front.. Than if you ever want more gearing after that all you need to do is drop 1 or 2 teeth in the front, it will be a lot cheaper than buying a new chain and sprocket set again.

Re: Sprocket Question
stock gears my f4i tacked out about 160 but I probably wasnt even doing 150
now im -1 +14 and its ok on the street cruising at 70 im probably at about 9 or 10 grand I would probably just go up 10 though, stock front and youd be good on the street, and could still do anything you want to in the parking lot

Re: Sprocket Question
I'm in the same boat as netto, still learning and ****, but I've been told a bunch of times just to go -1 or -2 in the front cuz it will relieve stress on the clutch or whatever. Is this true?
and that wouldn't require a new chain either?
