yeah +1 to them....
if the gas is comin outta the tank or out of a fuel line..... figure out where the gas came from and it should help figure out why its not startin....
it coulda had a line pop off....
-Anyone think it could be a tip over sensor.... (guess we dont know the year so i might not have one)... just throwin that out there....

I once had a problem.. What happened was.. I left my bike on its side to long and oil drained into number 2 cylinder.. So I had to clean it out and then got it back running.. a lil smoke and she ran !

your tip sensor shouldnt be a problem if you turn the key off and on again it resets. i think only a few bikes you have to actually reset the tip sensor manually but idk which bike(s) that is that does it... it might be what the mc suggested... try letting it sit for a bit and see if that works. goodluck

red light is probably the FI light, its a code. Count the blinks like 1---1-1-1-1 would be blink code 14 and look up blink code diag on the gsxr for that engine year.

Location of dealer mode switch and how to get the codes.
The dealer mode connector is under the tail cowling on the left side of the bike, near the regulator/rectifier. It will have only two wires going to it. It is is small white connector that does not plug into anything, and has a rubber cap on one end.
BLACK W/ GREEN BAND Wire with a WHITE STRIPE and a
WHITE W/ GREEN BAND Wire with a RED STRIPE
you just use a paper clip to jump the two wires together in the connector. this is for models with 16 bit ECM's
or you can buy ONE OF THESE (16- bit has 2 wires at thh plug/ 32 bit has 4 wires at the plug)

Nice post. Couldn't said it better myself (really)
+1 on cleaning plugs as well. Plugs are quick and gravy on gsxr's. Put new ones in, it couldn't hurt anything, and is only like 12 bucks if I remember.
