Re: wheelie cam

looked like you were clutching it up just fine to me... although my sense of direction was messed up by the sideways video ...

Work on being smoother with the throttle and bring it back further...

If possible, have someone video tape you riding one, i'm sure you're feeling like you're way up there... so once you see it on vid, you know you can go back further and maintain a constant speed versus gaining speed and ride it out just my quick observation...

Re: wheelie cam

outstanding if those were the 1st two wheelies you ever done. sounds like you are in 2nd gear. that used to be my favorite. now its 1st gear. you need to clutch it up quicker so you dont gain any acceleration. then bring it up a little higher and be smoother on the throttle. you want to stay at balance point and occasionally a little bit in front of it.

thats retarded. the world record for longest wheelie is no where near a quarter of that. think about how far that is, thats like a 4 hour drive in a subaru outback. you aint gonna be in any position other than seatstander or foot in the bar if you are rockin more than 5 miles unless you have forearms like popeye. well actually you'd have to really be popeye himself. and a 4 hour seatstander just aint happening. my fat *** could hardly stand a 4 hour watch on an aircraft carrier.

Re: wheelie cam

it was 3rd gear and i feel way to high that why i ride the gear out. but sometimes i feel i hit balance point but them i start shifting toward the left because i think im putting too much pressure on the left leg

is Daytona 500 miles long? How does one do a mid-wheelie refuel?

You're doing well on the clutch, but I need a few questions answered. Was this sitting down or stagger? If you're staggering, then if you feel comfortable with it, clutch a hair harder. Use the throttle less and the brake more to control. If you're sitting down, try getting used to looking around the bike. If you're feeling wobbly when you get near BP, then adjust yourself to center out the weight. You're pretty close man, keep it up!

Wait, this was on a road? That's illegal

PLEASE practice with the brake. It'll save your hide and bike. Not saying you;re not using it, just a friendly reminder!

And remember, the rear brake can overheat! I would suggest hi temp brake fluid at least. I had lost brake on my 636 twice due to boiling fluid. I use the **** out of it though. Never looped, just pooped my pants a little
