Re: gp tech hand brake

Lots of people have tried it. It's ok for starting out I guess but most people move up to a radial mount. You have more mounting options for your clutch perch w/ a radial mount.
Do a search on handbrake or hand brake and you will find out a lot about them. Most people like the Brembo. Some run a gsxr brake master for a handbrake. Just search it and you will learn a lot.

Re: gp tech hand brake

First one is JUNK

second one is a 'frembo' its like a 50/50 chance its gonna be good, or be trash.. I'd say try to find a used radial master off a newer bike, like a 1000rr master, 600rr master, gixer 6, 750, or 1000 master..

Can probably find one for anywhere from $60-$120 used

And then get an adapter and line and your good to go

I think if you get the real Brembo like this one that you will be more impressed. I was just being a cheap *** at the time.
Amazing how I will only pay $50 for something that will keep me off my *** and pay $500 for a camera to get a pic of me busting my ***.

Re: gp tech hand brake

its mainly all preference i have used it and theres also a finger clutch cap that goes right over top of the master and it takes up no room at all if u bleed it right it works almost as good as a 16X18 brembo radial

Then you get to deal with a stock feel clutch, and not being able to customize the lever placement to your own preference, and I doubt that non radial piece of garbage comes close to having the feel of a brembo 16x18!

edit: it might be fien with a dual caliper 4 piston setup.. But who is really gonna get a janky master to go with a $250 hand brake setup lol..

about $60-$120 is all you'll spend on a used radial master from a newer bike.. Hell I got 2006 zx10 and a 2006 600rr master for $120 shipped together!
