They are alot of fun. And it's the only bike I let other people ride. Tell them the basics and get the video camera ready. This is a clip of a friend riding when he pulls a wheelie and crashes. So much fun. Lol.

THE BEST WAY TO ADVANCE YOUR STUNTING IS TO CONTINUALLY CHANGE BIKES! RIDE YOUR STREET BIKE...THEN JUMP ON UR 50..SOo MANY NEW TRICKS CAN BE LEARNED FROM RIDING OTHER MOTORCYCLES...LEARN DRIFTIN ON A MOTOARD...LEARN REAR BRAKE AND THROTTLE CONTROL ON A 50 ....OH YA SMOKE A FATTY BETWEEN TO EASE THE MIND!!

Well if you want a mini bike, specifically one to learn stunts on, crf50's are about the most durable mini bike, they have the biggest aftermarket parts world, and they are fun to play on.
Brake control is the best thing to learn on a 50.. It transfers right over to a sport bike..
Balance and stuff isn't near the same on a 50 as a sport bike, but it does help a little...
I personally started on a 50, then stepped up to my 150f... And now to my f4i
I guarantee getting good on my 50, made me learn brake control on the f4i safely and WAY faster then if I didn't ride hte 50..
And the 150f helped me learn side to side balance, and circles.. The 150f was a HUGE help for me learning circles on the sport bike.... When you go to cut a circle on the 150f, it's like a sport bike, in the fact you have to commit, and if you high side your getting fucked up..
Now if your wanting a crf50 to offroad on, you might as well look for a bike already setup.. To properly setup a 50 for offroading, you'll look into spending $3,000+ in aftermarket parts.. When you could buy a good offroad mini for $1500-$2000 from the jump
Not to mention, the crf50 is boss to bring to partys.. Get everyone trashed, let them watch me stunt it, then let everyone else ride it after I make it look so 'easy' then watch them all wreck and get hurt! Great times
so.... sport bikes are made for racing, so take it to the track and get out of businesses parking lots!

50's hand brakes are WAY different then a sport bikes hand brake
On a 50, a hand brake is usually easier for ppl to learn.. My friends that dont even own bieks, get on my 50, and use the hand brake to rock wheelies for blocks
but on the sport bike, hand brake takes finess and practice
My 2 cents

I could probably do that first couple tries, and i've never even really ridden a 50 all that much. Everything has to be easier knowing your landing in a pit of foam.
