Re: Darious does ballet anyone see it?
I've never met darius, don't know much about him other than where he places in comps. But I think he's definitely thinking outside the box and looking at the big picture. In 9 days, 4500 people who otherwise would have never watched someone stunt a bike with an open mind, got to appreciate it in a way that they would understand! not to mention the thousands of people they told about the show. And there was a firebird shooting flames and ****, that sounds like a pretty cool show. you're just hating cuz there was a chick in tights twirling around on stage. what kind of insecure homo are you? oh, that's right, you're hardcore underground!
I woke up on a monday after a long weekend before i even had one cup of coffee in me, seen ballet stunting and lost my marbles. It happens. I'm not going to get into an argument with you over this because you don't know what your talking about.

I don't care what all the haters say. I only read up to page one. congrats darius you are doing something different and that took alot of skill and exposed our sport to new aduiance, and gave stunters a better image. cus I bet most the people in the crowd if they have ever heard of us think we are a bunch of hooligans. Mad props to you.
any one else hating would of done it if they were approached for it. but they werent cus they arnt good enough.

Re: Darious does ballet anyone see it?
There was a time when a bunch of teenagers runnin' moonshine with their modified souped up cars would meet up at the local Bummed Fu_ked Egypt burger joint with chick in tow.
One would brag about how he has the fastest car this side of the Mississippi. They strarted street racing each other to see.
Bill France came along and formed what today we know as NASCAR.
But they had many of the problems you all face today. It was the "thinking outside the box" that helped the sport grow by leaps and bounds. NASCAR drivers today are doing commercials on tv for products that have NOTHING to do with racing!!
You never know who is going to be in the audience or where your breaks will come from. Stunt riding has to get away from these little "groups" that hate on each other and look at the bigger picture of stunt riding, and support ALL riders who want to get this off the street and into mainstream competition. Thanks to whoever posted this, because I couldn't tell from the pics just how challenging that show was, so having the details of the show posted up was awesome!! Kudos!! ~Big B~

Right on Brian , comin from outta no-where with the best post
And mad props to Darius for doing something so technical, without a flaw I know that must have been some of the hardest ****, with your heart pounding and your focus maxed out. This does open up alot of other doors for stuntriding, such as going on that "Americas got talent" show, lol but, I mean this just goes to show that it is very possible to perform on a stage with a 300+ pound bike and rock some sick ****!
The liability issue is of course going to be there, especially with the simple fact, that there is an audiance right there below the stage. Which again adds to the awesome feat Darius pulled off doing these shows. It doesnt take away from the underground aspect of our underground sport, if anything it shines different lights on what we do. This show doesnt sound like it was just some ballet deal, it seems like it was a blend of different style's of art with breakdancing etc.
Why do some have to come off so hardcore, and hate on what there jeolous of? wait I just answered my own question.
At the place where stuntriding is at right now, any publicity is good publicity.
