Re: Darious does ballet anyone see it?

Unless you have seen the show it's really hard to picture what it consist's of. The part you see with me and the ballerina only last's 1:30 seconds. Her part in the whole show probably last 5 minutes. There were about 30 people total in the whole production. There was lots of fire, if you think of a normal ballet this was nothing like it. The 1st guy on stage had 2 propane tanks on his back with lines going to his hands and then tubes to each of his fingers where he could shoot 10 foot flames off his finger tips!! The show was a series of fire acts with a dramatic type setting, a car on crane, motorcycle stunts, fire, firethrowers, huge fireball explosions, hip hop style dancing, breakdancing, a girl doing a trapeze that was on fire. Not your typical ballet.

How am I jumping thru hoops? When I heard about it sure I was skeptical and then I was reasurred it was going to be "gangsta" Once I checked it out and seen what they had going on I had no problem doing it. Now of course if the **** was lame I wouldnt have done it. The people who made this production have been doing different plays for quite a while which is why they have such a following, selling out a show everynight isn't easy!!

Ya the outfit was lame but it ain't like it was pink It was a white Astar jacket and a scorpion helmet, white leather pants. I was a stunt double for the prince so I had to wear what he was wearing. I didn't really matter what I was wearing though because when I clutched it up and busted out the circles I had the whole house going nuts every damn night, those people thought I was a some sort of motorcycle wizzard!!!

I've never met darius, don't know much about him other than where he places in comps. But I think he's definitely thinking outside the box and looking at the big picture. In 9 days, 4500 people who otherwise would have never watched someone stunt a bike with an open mind, got to appreciate it in a way that they would understand! not to mention the thousands of people they told about the show. And there was a firebird shooting flames and ****, that sounds like a pretty cool show. you're just hating cuz there was a chick in tights twirling around on stage. what kind of insecure homo are you? oh, that's right, you're hardcore underground!

I think it's cool and a step in the right direction. x-games is never going to happen, circles are bring and more balarina-esque.

who really gives a ****? you out of everyone involved in stunt riding should know that no matter what you do, there are going to be haters.

even if it was a full on ballet with you having to dress like kane, i would still give you props. its nice to see stunting in a venue that you would never expect it to be in. i dont know about anybody else, but i get tired of watching the same old stuntshow in your local dealers parking lot.

Re: Darious does ballet anyone see it?

Whoever has a problem with this is either green with envy or they are repressed homosexuals. This **** was on fire... literally.

When you do the same **** for years you get burnt out and you look for different challenging ****. Who the **** wants to do the same thing everyday for the rest of their lives? This guy got offered thousands of dollars to perform in front of thousands of people surrounded by fire and shooting flames. Add to that he performed flawlessly on point without launching his bike into the crowd (which actually would have been cool).

These haters are just pissed because they will never have that kind of skill, success, or opportunity.

Just to show I'm not a nutswinger... **** you darius

And at least his bike and clothes aren't ******* pink!

and dont go throwing out numbers when you dont have the facts, he clearly stated that it was sold out every night, 500 people a night.

Re: Darious does ballet anyone see it?

A ballet with stuff on fire is just cool. ironic juxtaposition sells to the snobs as a bonus.

your fanbase never expands if ya don't get out and meet new people.

And how many shows did he do mr. smartass? If 2,000 people saw it that would be considered thousands.

Well since you know everything... Why don't you tell me?

Are you trying to say he didn't make thousands of dollars or he didn't perform in front of thousands of people?

I know assumptions can make an *** out of people ...... but I think it's safe to say he made "thousands". Wether he made $2,000 or $15,000 it is still considered "thousands of dollars".

Walmart and MTV??? please, MTV is a sell out. what does it stand for again? music television? where the f is the music? And walmart one of the biggest companies in the world selling out american factories to overseas countries that will make a product they can sell for 10,000% profits. hmmm.

the point was that people are hating on D for doing something that is not 'gangsta' and riding in front of a (for lack of a better term) mainstream audience....saying keep it underground, etc is just plain retarded.

those days were gone awhile ago, and it only get's more mainstream by the day...

not quite sure how to say what i want, but you def misinterpreted my post.

carry on
if I may add; if he wants to keep in underground then why would he go to stuntwarz or xdl? is that underground? i think a big ****** comp/weekend event like that is pretty mainstream.

selling out???? ****, every rider on this forum would sell out in a heartbeat to do a show......MOST would do a show for free, actually, 80 percent i gurantee would do a free show in front of 500 people every night for a month straight........
I'd like to see you out with Disney on Ice or some **** like that! you'd get the same haters, but **** would be ****** sick!

doesn't sound like ballet is the right term. so let's stop calling it a ballet, then re-evaluate our opinion about it.... ok, I still think it's cool!

I should have shown more self control in AC's thread out of respect FOR HIM.

But in this thread I have no problem saying you are a ****.

And for the record I am not the only person that wishes you would get hit by a dump truck.

who gives a ****?

every year around sept **** is going to go around hard about me, because some people can't ride as well as they can stab backs.

luckily, overall they suck at both, because the only people they can influence are people I don't care about at all. Like this dickflea.
