Im constantly told by guys I ride with the 600RR is a bad bike to stunt. Dont understand why. Ive road one twice and it seems like the throttle response was good and smooth. They claimed the front end was **** for stunting.

I just rode a new 600RR for the first time lastnight. I loved it, throttle response is super smooth.

It is a pain to set up right, it's made outta glass, but I'm cool with it because I don't trash my bike, the front end is acting funny (tire hops when I'm on the brakes), and the engine brake is evil! -don't gear it much. I think -2 +8 is perfect. SI makes a DOPE cage, roundbar, and subcage for it.

Hey quick side question if anyone knows...Is everything the same on the 08 as the 07? Would one of the new GPR V4 07 stabilizers fit on the 08? Found A dope price on one but it lists it only fitting the 07 and the guy I called said he was not sure?

If anyone could answer me this question it would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Nate

there identical only thing that changed is the paint schemes it'll fit.



i got 3 friends with 07-08 rr's 1 has the si cage, 1 just ordered the tygershark cage and one has the powers rails.


the si cage is sweet he has dropped it 3 or 4 times learning hc donuts and not a mark on the bike

And Now I just picked up my first honda..600rr..After 3 days of riding it although its still in break in period..Its has already become my favorite bike out of all of the one's I have had! (Well its in A tie with my 636) But damn the bikes throttle respones is amazing, Moving around the thing is like Butta! lol ******* nice overall bike..Period.

i stunted one for awhile. dont gear it too much. the si cage is solid, but will roll up on your clippons. a omr subcage is a must for that bike!

My si cage has been great about not rolling! Heard the omr subcage is sick. -I got the si subcage and love it. What gearing did you use? I went -2+8.

its not the cages fault for rolling, any cage has a tendancy to roll on the 600rr cuz of damn low the engine mounts are. nothing u can really do about it cept dont let go of ur bike.

ya i never had any issues with the cage rolling either, but someone new to stunting might. i actually took my rr to ian so he could build the jiggs for everything. i went with a 54 on the rear, and stayed stock up front. i only stunted it for a few months, then got another 636. it wasnt bad though, just took some time to get the feel for it.

Word. Yeah, I hadn't ridden in forever, and the last bike I had was an F4i, so the RR was waaaaay different for me. I think I'm liking it now... Just took forever to setup.

a lot of people do not realize how small that rear caliper piston is. i put an 05 rr caliper on, and it was a huge difference.

wats everyone stunting the 08 600rr doing about the idle control? ive been stuntin mine bone stock since before the end of break in (LOL couldn't help it). stalled out way too many stock bikes (it's a crappy way to crash a brand new bike in my opinion), so haven't gone slower the 15-18 ish mhp.
