how to build a cage?

how to build a cage?

the bike is a 94 YZF 750 so there is no cages made for this bike.

i have got plently of m8s who can weld just need to knw how you mount the cage to the bike?

could i get frame sliders and weld it on to the sliders?

any help apreciated

dude there is no point making a cage for that bike, i wouldnt use it as a stunt bike, just stick with your CRF50 idea, keep the YZF750 as your hooning bike, not a stunter

i dont want to turn it into a stunter, i want to try learn rolling burn outs and that sort of stuf but not a dedicated stunter

and im scared ill drop it

A cage is never a bad idea in my opinion. If you can get one made up do it. I wouldnt suggest welding it to sliders.

extended sliders will work if you only plan on doing burnouts

do this...hope everyone dont start doing this because im sure the price will go up then...go to walmarts bicycle section and buy a pack of bycicle pegs the smooth chrome ones and go to lowes with one your motor mount bolts and get a bolt with same thread and qaurter inch longer and now your got 10$ frame sliders that are 6 inches long or so and will hold up for sliding down the road at 85mph...or they will rip the bolt outta the mount...if you want a cage get another pair of pegs and put them in hole above rearsets and then weld straight bar from front to back ones then connect them under the bike and you got a cage...look at my avatar...40$ home made cage:YEAH
