Dropped a 12 hard, a few questions about the repairs
Ok, first real fall, no fun but it was a learning experience. Broke my extended sliders and my clip on. still runs fine, so i am hunting for new parts. I was doing extensive research and i basically have 2 questions.
1. Cages: I like the looks of the FI cage, but it looks so small, does it really hold up, i know ive read tons of testimonials from people, but it just looks like there are unprotected spots. Esp when compared to powerworks, racing 905 and MDX's (i think) Are there and if so where, also does the bike roll forward onto its nose when down?
2. Clip Ons: In this area, I am not as knowledgable, for my 07 zx6r i know its 50mm. I know i want 0 degree clip ons, or stock, but I have 2 wonders, can i get smaller than 50 mm so they dont break when i drop. and should i just buy more stockers, or upgrade, i saw some that are clamps and then the bar clamps in, and the bars can replaced for 20 dollars, are these good? or is a 1 cast piece better?
Thanks guys, I'm ok too, it was slow speed, just my first big mishap

50mm is the diameter of your forks where the clipons mount. Smaller than 50 will not fit.
SickInnovations cage is great and they have good to great customer service

clip-on, well the 50 mm are the tube size, of your forks, and i have the vortex wanna be from stuntme.com, with the replacable bars, which is the way to go, so they are easly replaced, as far as cages go, i would stay away from the f.i i've heard nothing but bad things about them, go with sick innovations, or the tiger sharks i hear are pretty good.

i have a powers on mine works so far but there is no customer service and you'll be waiting on that cage.. and i flipped my original clip ons and don't have a problem except how low the bike sits with the clipons over the triple
