edit: I know that's an 07, but read the replies, you'll see not too many ppl suggest stunting a gsxr, I wish I would have read more in the forums rather than basing my purchase on my opinion of looks, but whatayagonnado?

04-05 gsxr's are awesome... regardless of what anyone says

they're no 636 or f4i but def. awesome bikes. Beef up the subframe a bit and your good to go

Build one of those.. STEEL BABY.. then drill out the bolts ( the ones that bolt your subframe to the ears of your (MAIN) Frame.. This makes them weak so if you 12 to hard or hit the tail to hard you wont Destroy your subframe.. and you wont Rip the ears off your frame.. ( THE TABS THAT YOU BOLT THE SUBFRAME TO ) dar ! - The Bolts will break instead!!! or buy the CHEAPEST Grade bolts you can get.. and I mean make sure there the lowest.. i cant remember if 1 is strongest or 10 is.. but make sure its lower then whats recommended if go this route.. I recommend like a 1 mil drill bit.. ( width of pencil lead.. ) hollowed out bolt..

That bike is a tank... It's taken more beatings then f4is.. then put a Sick innovations Cage on it..

Will live forever and ever.. I swear i told someone this today already

I love and hate my gixxer. All I recommend to you is if you already know how to rock idle wheelies take off all your front fairing stuff and reinforce your subframe somehow. If you dont you will learn really quick about how weak those parts are. Or just buy drgnazz's steel subframe. I bought one off him and it took me a month to break it. LOL stuntin is expensive but fun.

Musta been some weak *** welded ****.. I put some gangster ******* welds on my GSXR>. and i aint no pro welder. hell never been properly trained either..

Just kinda watched some pro fabricating friends of mine.. they set the voltage and i went nuts with some flexcore and a bottle of jager..

U will kill urself.. or the motor of the bike before the subframe on any bike i "REINFORCED"

I can build anyone one.. just need a bike to do a mock up with !

Re: Stunting An 05 Gsxr 600

yeah bro I'm not a welder either but your right. My subframe broke clean off at a weld no biggie though I already had in mind to cake the **** on when im ready to put it back together. But on the other hand I have been riding pretty hard lately dropping my bike more than the normal. Anyways drgnazz I'm not banging on your product, I would buy another in a heart beat cause I'm too lazy to make my own. I think its just cause I throw my bike around like I just dont care and it still runs like a beast. LOL and welding with jäger sounds like my kinda fun......... Nice man

I stunt a o5 Gixx 600 just take the ferrings off (cause the upper ferring mount will break) or get a stunt stay and get a sub-frame reinforcement off SON DOOBY on here. :YEAHBUt they go up great and throttle smooth.

Yea Son will be the one dialin in so it's stunt ready for me!! He's the man!! so with reinforcements it sounds like it'll be a good bike for me. thanks for all the feedback!

Re: Stunting An 05 Gsxr 600

I rock a 04 gsxr got the stunt stay, sun dooby cage, sun dooby subcage and reinforced subframe. if you learning and don't got bp you might as well go buy as many subframes as you can get cuz if you hit it hard it will crack but you can weld em

the real big difference from the gsxr and other bikes is the TWITCHY *** throttle. VERY HARD to get smooth ****.

i welded som 1/8in Aluminum plate over the openings in the subframe:YEAH and reinforced it. no more breaky breaky

J-beats was rocking the 08 gsxr for a while and went back to his 05 he said it was better.
