Re: 636 help

You could save tons of time and just paint the 05-06 swingarm silver

Re: 636 help

lol

Don't you still need the 07 front rim with the 07 front end?

Or do the 07 rotors mount to the 03-04 rim?

rotors and fender are all you need for the 03 04 to 05 06 swap so i assume the 07 08 is the same

Re: 636 help

well i don't know about the 07 08 wheel but the only difference between the 03 04 and the 05 06 it that the right side of the hub doesn't stick out as far on the 05 06 so the one extra spacer is needed...the smaller of the two spacers from the 05 06 is added to the two 03 04 stock spacers and it works perfect at least it did on my 03 ....

Re: 636 help

the top one is from the 06 and the bottom one is from the 07

the only difference i see in the spacers is one set is steal and the other is alloy but they have the same part #s except i think the a means alloy and the b means steal

Re: 636 help

looks like they have the same axle and bearings and the part that goes in between the bearings is the same so i suspect they are the same width the wheels part #'s are even the same except the 06 has a /ac after it probably a style code

and the hub that holds the sprocket is the same part #

Re: 636 help

The rims themselves are the same part number. Usually a letter afterwards is a different color

i think in this case color and style

if i were a betting man i would bet the 07 08 wheel would work just like the 05 06 wheel

Re: 636 help

Now I'm confused. Both the 05-06 and 07-08 rear rims appear identical as well. No change in appearance...
