Its pretty self explainitory. I put a hydrolick jack unernieth the motor to ease it down.
As for the frame, I dont know. Just keep your cage tight and don't be *****, try to stick with the bike and let it down easy when your crashing. LOL!!!

Heres a link to download the service manual.
http://www.gofastvideo.com/gallery/i...shop-book.html
They'll have instructions on how to take out the motor. Right click where it says click here to play video then select save as, save to your desktop and open.

Well if your powder coating the frame then you don't need to take off the throttle bodies or unhook the wire harness. Keep it all on the motor. Why take it all off???????

well after about only 3 1/2 hrs total time from a complete bike to just about all the way striped down. now i just hope i can put it all back together. anyone got any ideas about a bad *** color for the frame???? i was guna do it white but kinda boring and i dont want black because all the new bikes are black,,, so any input would be great!!!

Re: 03 636 engine removal
i just did mine
take off all the headers/tank/air box /throttle bodies/radiator (you dont need to remove the front sprocket just take the rear wheel off and slide the chain forward around and off the sprocket)
you will need a 10mm allen key and a tool for the castle nuts (i just used a piece of wood and a hammer)
then undo the top engine mount
place a jack under the motor and undo the upper of the 2 rear engine mounts
leave the bottom rear mount in and use that has a pivet point for the motor to swing down (you still need the jack under it) and when the motor is down on the floor undo the rear mount and she's out....
