the shipping costs more then the plastics.

 

yeah, thats so theymake their money back. by the time you pay for the fairings and the plasics you coulda bought new ones.....

 

Roommate just got some for his gixxer, ****'s hella flimsy (like 1/2 as thick as OEM) and the paint isn't that great, drips and runs here and there. We haven't even checked fitment, but i have the feeling i'll be using a drill and tiny drill bit as part of the install process.

 

$725 for flimsy HK fairings?....no thank you...could probably find some good condition OEM ones for around the same price or cheaper. Or just buy the fiberglass ones and spray paint them. If you take your time spray can jobs can be pretty ******* nice.

 

don't you guys have people whoe do race plastics in the US? they cost about £300 on ebay, so maybe for $600 you'll be able to rind something you want.

friend bought a set for his 03 gsxr 750 and his fitment was horrible the paint wasnt that bad but the fitment was way off

it looked great from a far but horrible up close

 

marcus from sweden got some for his 636. Been waiting to hear how they're holding up

I just bought a set out of here...i forget who it was on here that said they make a great product....

 

Here are mine from Auctmarts.....little fab work but almost Done

 

there junk i now 2 people that bought those hong chong fairings and fit ment was way off...... now if you look on ebay they are adverstising those fairing with REVISED fitment... go figure i wonder if they fit any better... probably NOT

 

There has been 3 Generations of Farings

1. PVC ****
2. Abs knock off's 1 gen
3. Mine Revised Fitment....


but they did take along time to show but they are not as people make it out to be....if you have skillz they can look good...

 

yours looks good. my buddys got the abs knock offs.... the fitment was horable on my buddys r1. i am the one who mounted the fairings and they came out looking good but a few holes were so off i drilled new ones to get the fairings nice and tight.
