WRONG! sick innovations mounts directly do the swing arm pivot and the engine mount, powers bolts in there and then has a flat piece of metal that extends up to sit flat againts the frame and then the cage is welded to the point that is sitting on the frame making any impact be distributed into the sidewall of the frame instead of any other cage which makes the impact go into the thick *** mount of the frame.

Re: Powers Stunt Worx - Giving Credit Where Credit Is Due ...

My complaint wasn't the quality from powers but like every1 pointed out it was the 3 month wait for the cage and 2 months for the subcage and everytime you call and ask where its at they tell you it just got powdercoated and is shipping out monday....

and I watched my friend drop his 954 over with a FI cage and crack the frame and my other friend came off his 05 636 and his bike went into a chainlink fence and the FI cages slider caught a link and the cage just folded back like butter

my powers cage was alright it did what it needed to do as in keep my cases from breaking. (f4i).

only gripe was that it rolled up on the clips alot. never bent a bolt with a powers cage. got a sick cage now... doesnt roll up on clips but i bent a bolt the first fall. and it was TIGHT.

Re: Powers Stunt Worx - Giving Credit Where Credit Is Due ...

hmm... 905 "racing" cage on my yzf600. Works Excellent! I suck, throw it down all the time. only 2 real hard hits, both on the left, and the cage is getting close to the stater cover now. Good ****!
although my old yammie has a steel frame/subframe that is all one piece (welded or course) subframe starting to twist a little...

its also possible that the people who broke frames may have had it on too tight. a cage is supposed to be snug, not tight. either way, i'm more than happy with my sick inno cage. i only know of one guy who's cracked one.

another small issue i had with it is that when i'd roll it up the ramp into my truck, the bottom of it would hit the ramp pretty hard. it needs better clearance, perhaps running the bottom around the front of the headers.

Re: Powers Stunt Worx - Giving Credit Where Credit Is Due ...

I've had 8 powerz cages, on a few different bikes. Never had a problem getting them on, always shipped fast. Powerz will always get my business

Tried 905 old and new design. Garbage
SI was a pain in the *** to get on, didn't fit right on 03 636 or 05 636. IMO SI sucks.

Eventually your gonna get a split between who likes what cage, buy what you want.

yes on some trucks that was a problem. my truck it was only prob when the tire was cashed and roached to the max flat for maximum lowriding!

Lets take this back to a bike night at DUKES in orlando Matt Powers shows up to check out a show myself, Drew Rawlins and Tneck were doing. At the time I rode for Powers Stuntworx and considered myself a friend not just a rider. I show powers this bar that connects my rear pegs that myself and larry the welder (LTW on here) made in his shop to save my subframe and and rear peg on my 636. we talked for a few and word for word mat said well "Its like a cage for your subframe" 2 months later the first "SUB CAGE" came out. From then on i could never Get in contact with Matt what so ever... and he's cashed in on the "sub cage" with not even a mention of any help from any riders. you think a guy who doesn't ride came up with that? not so much....

so much for credit where credit is due....... really disappointed in the lack of loyalty there matt especially after you name a round bar off of tneck that i helped you develop as well.....

but the past is the past....

As far as i know it was ED1000 who came up with the subcage. he built one for an 04 gixxer and the it was being produced a few weeks later.

And as far as them being fast i gave them my 02 gixxer for a subcage and didnt get it back for 4 months. not just wating for a subcake but they had my bike and they also drilled 2 holes into my mint subframe. by the wat im still waiting on my pegs for my subcage i had to buy pegs elsewhere.

lol that was definitely an issue for me. i always ride my bike up my ramp. one night i tweaked the cage went to ride up my ramp to go home, and all of a sudden i came to a dead stop and fell of the back of my truck. i also dented the **** out of my gas tank with my knee.

Re: Powers Stunt Worx - Giving Credit Where Credit Is Due ...

I give it up to Matt. I know he is super busy. Everytime I called in the past he honestly seems to care and deliver good customer service and a good product. I have a bike fully set up with powers. Cage, subcage, axle spools, extended cage slideers, subcage pegs. It was my first stunt bike build up...I like it and it is different than my others. They are all good and great and different styles are good with different bikes. Hope Matt and Power worx get goin.

In fact I prefer his axle spools for all my stunt bikes......got like three or four sets. they are sic as hell and like no other! anyway....

+1 powers
