anyone know if the 05-06 front axles and spacers are different from the 07-08

it seems that when i tighten the front axel down 05-06 wheel and axle with 07-08 forks the wheel does not spin great at all.

 

my whole front end is 07 and my wheel doesnt spin very well. i actually looked up the torque specs once for the axle and it said something crazy like 75 foot pounds.

i did it to spec and it would barely make one revolution, so i loosened it a little

 

mine is loose where there is a gap between the spacer and the fork and still not spinning very well

 

Just get the other spacers and start experimenting.. They're usually real cheap
