bent rim?

my front rim has a small flat spot in it. i want to know how to get it out without destroying the rim

Maybe by using something to warm up the rim and a soft hammer to hit it on the dented spot?

get a rawhide hammer or a hammer with plastic ends and u can get it out. Just took a flat spot out of mine that way
