Question f4i problem

I have a 03 honda f4i Everytime I pull in the clutch and put my bike in gear the bike shuts off
Anyone have any suggestions on why it might do this

It was running fine till I dropped it.

Re: f4i problem

+1 on kickstand switch, they suck anyways, can't do lockup to kickstand to flip with it connected.

That HAS to be it

the only thing that would cause the bike to die when put in gear, but run fine in neutral, is the kick stand switch..

edit: or of course some mechanical problem that doesn't physically allow the clutch to disengauge.. But I doubt thats the issue

there is your problem.

p.s. he never said it runs fine in neutral....he said the bike is in neutral, you pull in clutch, what happens? it dies.
