.........On sick innovations web site it tells you that a f4i suspension is 2 soft and will most likley rub (espically considering you have ur girl on the back), Then it tells you 2 tighten up the rear suspension......

the only thing i can think of is that the guy before u put a lowering link in the shock to lower the height of the bike!!!! does it feel like it sits lower than other f4i's?

Re: Powers Subcage rubbing on tire?

How old is your shock??

Shocks blow out on bikes, and can go bad, causing your rear end to sag more then it should.. My friend with 6k on his 600rr has a blown out shock, and his bike will barely even stand on the kick stand from sitting so low!

Re: Powers Subcage rubbing on tire?

I think my F4i was some kind of race bike? It had a race tail on and no front end when I got it. I don't know anything about racing but maybe their shocks are softer?

Re: Powers Subcage rubbing on tire?

I don't see how they couldn't rug, I used to rub my tire on the inside of the rear all the time. I never could figure out how people rode with the subcage, how are you supposed to jump your bike with that ****??

I have one of their cages on my 05 636.. it's rolled onto the tank twice from hard 12 falls (needs longer metal sliders) but other than that it seems pretty stout. plenty of room before it comes close to my covers.
