My 04 636r stunters front end is POO!!! any ideas why???
Hey all,
I just got my 04 636r all built up and ready to stunt! I took it for my first ride around the block and the front end is giving me force feedback as I turn at low speed (20-30 khm)
I take it home and re route all my cables in the front so there is lots of slack when the handle bars are fully left and right, take it for another boot and the same problem....
I tightened everything up in the front...same BS problem. The front end feels sketchy as hell. Its hard to explain. It feels good riding straight but as soon as i give any input to turn the front end feels light and shakey.....
Does any of this sound familiar? could it be my barings?
Any help would be sweet!
thanks.

if u have a worn front tire it will make ur bike feel like **** when turning. having a major flat spot will make the turn in real hard, cupped tires feel real shakey when turning.

I will take a look at the tire. When I bought the bike my bud said he abused the front tire and I should replace it....It looked good though...

check the front forks also. You never know what monkey could of been working on it. Make sure whatever the rebound and compression settings are set to is equal on both left and right fork. The fork oil level needs to be correct on both sides also.
Hope its just the tire dude good luck.

also make sure your forks are set the same, I had nasty head shake for a long time on my 636 and it ended up that one was set different than the other, did'nt figure it out till it was on the front stand and kept falling over.
