I do not have a tail saver, but to me it seems like a good thing.

Re: poll: tail saver? yes/no

none for me.

I spent like half hour worth of fiberglass work and put on a butt load of layers. on the main part I stand on and all around the sides. the thing is rock solid. so we will see how long it last.

cheaper and better looking than tailsaver IMO

secret weapon will become famous soon enough
Re: poll: tail saver? yes/no

i just put one on my f4i, makes s.s circles way more leverage and keeps my toes/feet from getting sore after riding all nite....not looking forward to ever flipping stoppies with this back there tho.... only time i hit my shin on it is when i clutch up foot in the seat staggered, besides that its well worth 100.00

I know I said it before

but if you use enough fiberglass, and lay it properly without leaving bubbles, it will be as strong as steel

When you build a speaker box from fiberglass, you should be able to jump on it without it flexing at all.. If it flexes, you gotta go thicker or your sub will sound like ****

Fiberglass is stronger then steel pound for pound..

If done right, only thing breaking it is a truck hitting it.

Not to mention, keeps the tail from breaking when dropping the bike

No doubt the tail saver is cool for thoughs who want it.. But don't knock fiberglass, **** is strong as ****.
Only problem is, people lay it wrong, and don't take time doing it, and it breaks, then they say fiberglass sucks..
