Re: Hey Colbert!? The biggest screw you ever!!!
this has to stop , todd and thomas both say they want to help this sport grow and **** like this does nothing but hurt it
both of these guys have proven to every one that they are great promoters and they get **** done if they worked together they could do great things ....

that would be dope! the new sanctioning body could be called the "ASA"(american stuntriding association). there would be rounds in 25 states including alaska . the final premiere event would be held bi-annually on each coast. it'll be like the superbowl of stuntriding. "STUNTBOWL"
EDIT: one thing.... someone has to hold the money so noone gets fucked...

Besides, it doesnt really matter if thomas gets the locals to come to his thing or not, as long as he gets all the riders to not show up at colberts. if colbert doesnt deliver on the entertainment, no more stuntwars cause nobody will come the next day if they see johnny squidly trying to ride a wheelie or endo down the pavement...unless he crashes alot

Re: Hey Colbert!? The biggest screw you ever!!!
The reason it has to be a cooperative is for the sake of sponsors wanting to sponsor real athletes in a real sport, if the whole sport is run by one for profit company, then they can make the rules and rig the matches to make money all they want, can't they?
not that anyone here would do such a thing, but the world doesn't know who you are, and doesn't run on the honor system anyhow. there are a number of regulatory and marketing factors to consider.
corporate finance and sports intersect in a bunch of places, here's one, and there are already established protocols. XDL being the 100% comp would only be sick in the sense that a lot of people would have wasted a lot of time, effort and money to make a sport, only to fail.

motorcross ,supercross and sprint cup races are both sponsor magnets so you saying having one sanctioning body is the wrong way to get sponsors leads me to believe your posts are either drug induced or you have an ulterior motive ....
or maybe im just miss understanding your post

Re: Hey Colbert!? The biggest screw you ever!!!
so you think throwing some thing together last minute right next to stuntwars for no other reason then to cut the attendance at stuntwars is good for the sport ?
