I run a little baffle type megaphone muffler on my gixxer 600. I took off the muffler underneathe the bike and got it runnin open header with that little slip on muffler.
Its dumb loud and when your cruisin down the road and hit a certian RPM it will blow your right eardrum out.

my yosh took a beating and the carbon can cracked, plus it was scraping a bit on the right side of the tailpipe so.....had ta cut it up!

his valves will be fine the stock header length produces enough backpressure to keep that from happening.
