My first time painting with out using a rattle can i think i did a decent job minus the few spots it ran through the tape. Bike is almost done R1 front end coming soon and stock 07 r6 can going on it.

Yea... taping off is an art. Looks pretty good!

I think I'd buy a OMR subby and then do my rearsets black like the cages are... then finish up the details that would make it pimp! Like do up all the odds and ends same color as the frame,the wheels, the calilpers,fork bottoms, and the triple and are those dirt bars? lol That would be sweet!

off topic. take root beer schnapps and add beer like a bomb and you have a root beer barrel shot. tastes just like the candy. sorry im also a bartender. NICE PAINT good choice of colors

bike looks really good man, what type paint did you use, i wanna repaint my tank soon its gettin kindafugly, paint keeps chippin where i dented it in...and how do u get the old paint off?

 

oh yeah.......paint looks pretty decent for round one....it'll only get better everytime you redo it!

....currently debating on skipping class to go buy rootbeer candy bottles! haha

I used Nason 2k urethane primer on everything. Then a ppg single stage for all the paint.

Looks good! i just painted my bike all rattle can, turned out really really good

 

an f4i by its very nature is an ugly bike, i ride one so i know theres really nothing you can do about it. IMO turning an already ugly bike into a streetfighter makes it even worse. but that being said the paintjob itself looks good man.

 

looks good. i am VERY interested in how that front end conversion and exhaust works out....be sure to make a thread on it with pics and details please!

 

I always thought an F4i looked better streetfightered....the uppers are fugly as shyt!!!!
