tank removal help

got a second idle cable today to do idle mod. started taking off the tank but am running into a few problems when i lift it up theres like 6 hoses and dont have a slightest clue about where to start anyone have some ideas?

friend let me use these vise grips that have flat jaws to clamp them so u don't **** fuel everywhere. Or i have my son just hold it up without disconnecting anything while i tinker under there. Person holding it up ussually starts to get bored and tired after 30min. though. LOL

Just use a tie down. latch it to where the tank bolt up in the front then strap the other side to your 12 bar or something. no point in taking the tank off.
