Re: easypull msr
I was gonna go yank the one off the gix and put it on the F4i since the frame is busted on the gix, it'll be down for a month or so longer so WTF right?? keep new stuff on the nice bike was my logic, but I dunno...it could end up being like one of those cheap entertainment centers from walmart that f'n fall apart if you try to rearrange your furniture more than once!

Re: easypull msr
I tighten the square end all the way, and then tighten the rounded side down enough to hold it on the bar end and it can still twist some. did you have the plastic bushing in there? seen that before they didn't have the bushing and tightened it to make it grab the bar and SNAP. I've never broke an MSR perch and I've crashed a lot too

Re: easypull msr
alright this is what you do to a MSR.
take it out the package. unscrew the stock adjuster on it and THROW IT AWAY!!!
Replace the stock adjuster in it with a stock honda clutch adjuster (900 929 954 f4i) and then leave it screwed ALL THE WAY IN and make ALL your clutch adjustment down bottom at the cable. and mount it slightly loose like I said in my response above
it'll save all of you guys TONS of headache. and it makes the clutch even easier to pull

Re: easypull msr
This thread's a little confusing, so I'll try to help it be a little more straight forward.........broken ez pull(lever)= operator error...........broken ez pull(inline box unit)= piece of ****, too bad you wasted your $.

Re: easypull msr
IMO there is still a chance, on BAD HARD falls
But just while installing it, or on a light fall, definitely operator error
When I flipped my bike across the parking lot though.. Well I guess it was operator error for me flipping it, but there wasn't nothing stopping that ****** from snapping!
