Re: what to do with gauges?

I just got some 18ga. aluminum sheet metal and made bracket real quick. All you need is drill and snips. It's pretty easy. Just get a 12x12 square piece and put gauges at the top and trace around the mounting holes with marker, might have to put notch in metal for the wiring. then drill holes and mount it on there. I fastened mine to the steering stem. Put it up by the clip-ons and start trimming some of the excess off metal off. eye up where you can make the hole for steering stem, drill hole and trim out with snips. Put a 90 degree bend at bottom then mounted it on and pressed it down by hand another 30 degrees. Or just zip tie somewhere LOL

Re: what to do with gauges?

i run gauges for gas and oil lights... and to keep my RPM's in check.

lemee go snap a pic of mine, it's just held on by a ziptie on the tree. but it works!

Re: what to do with gauges?

I dont run any gauges. Just keep it full. I do leave my plugs hanging out to the side so I can just plug in my gauges if I need. If your bike is going to mess up a gauge wont save you and you will know if its running bad. Then you just plug in and fix and unplug again. Plus you count no miles and a 60 tooth sprocket racks them up.

You won't notice you lose oil pressure tell its too late

Also nice to notice what the temp is, just in case you ever have a fan or cooling issue
