i just got an olins damper for my f4i and it has play in dead center.....when i do stoppies of 3rd i get bad head shake.....eny ideas can i just rebleed it????

Cant bleed it, ohlins has to do that for u they rebuild it, sounds like the brackets are lose maybe, i blew the seals in one and it didnt act like that. Have u tried to turn the valve to a stiffer setting?

yea i just put it to the hardest setting and it still has alil play in dead center of it when the bars are straight......all the brackets etc is tight, this thing is like brand new to ****** blows i just go it,,,,when i go from 1st or 2nd i get no head shake but 3rd or 4th it wobbles n shakes....the the bike has never been dumped its all starit and mint

My bike did the same thing with my GPR with my old junk F4i front end....now with the 954....no problems.

I don't think you need to bleed it check your head bearings

Take the dampner off the bike and put it on a soft setting and pull it in and out and see if it has play in it

A dampener is to prevent tank slapers like going from lock to lock in nutral it will have some play

That a good idea too, makes sense to me that the head bearing could make it do that

move it back and forth to see if you hear air bubles in it.

My ohlins never had play in it even when i blew the seals in it, even my stock gixxer one didnt have play

Ya when i blew mine it made all kinds of air bubble sounds when i move it
