Re: tank grip

ive used both the stomp grip and tech spec and i have to say that in my opinion the stomp grip blows ***. I followed the instructions to the t and the **** just moved and started to peel. I bought the tech spec and put it on. that **** just wont move. that stuff is tighter than painted on jeans! Best stuff to use!

its got a nice big tail kick and grips in wet too.

Yea, that's all a handfull of us KC guys are using. Doesn't tear up your clothes and has that lip also which is good for your ***, but I'm afraid may tear up some during frogs or pullin through SS to podiums or something. I like it a ton better than grip tape regardless.

And the best grip tape I found was that one piece step stuff with the yellow safety stripe in it. Super sticky and it's large enough that you can cut custom designs out of it pretty easily with an exacto knife and self healing cutting mat.

Re: tank grip

Techspec is sweet. Surfboard pad is ****. I have had bad luck with stomp grip staying on, Borne use to have the same problems - if you get a little bit of gas that runs down the tank and under it the adhesion becomes next to nill .... but who knows maybe we never prepped it right ....

gas will do that. it happened to my friends **** also. In fact i dont think ive run into anything that uses glue to stick to the tank that will resist gas. rhino liner will im sure, but that **** sux for traction imho. i just started being real carefull when filling up.
