Re: ALL westcoast riders going to NY XDL
I keep looking at the NY XDL schedule, laughing and shaking my head. The awards get over at 9, so I have a feeling I will be riding like DODOO come 10am the next day after driving all night.

Re: ALL westcoast riders going to NY XDL
yeah and?
He placed 5th in the 2007 Finals which means he's STILL a top contender to win.
And before you bring up your dumb "its 2008" comment again, the 2007 Finals took place in March of 2008.

Kane won the first XDL in Phoenix. He didn't qualify for the 2006 finals. And he did well at the 2007 finals. Facts are facts, haha.

Re: ALL westcoast riders going to NY XDL
if facts are facts, then get yours straight.
I won 06
placed 6th in 07
and TIED teach with 4th in 08
i also got 4th at starboyz last year, and 5th at the xdl VA in 07
i think the worst ive ever placed at a comp was this year at stuntwars with a whopping 12th place...
my not going to NYC has nothing to do with what i will place... has everything to do with diesel being 5bux a gallon, and 3 weeks of travel im not able to justify at this time...
i hope all my friends that are traveling there have a killer time though!

Re: ALL westcoast riders going to NY XDL
Kanes comment about "already won" refers to him already having won at the stunt game period.
my comment about seeing him at the other 4 or at least 5 refers to the fact that he should have no problem making them all, if he cant come to nashville I know he has no excuse not to make Indy MotoGP and the 3 southwest events... unless he books shows, which could happen but no biggie either way
I understand how hard it is to travel, especially with gas and everything so expensive, so i dont get mad at anyone who cant come to an event, thats why we created the bye rule, so people can skip an event if they choose and still be in some sort of contention for the championships
until we get on TV regularly and you guys can make some real cash, we have to get creative with travel expenses

Re: ALL westcoast riders going to NY XDL
I havent 'won' at the stunt game... theres still a lot to conquer... for once i wasnt being cocky.. haha. i really was just saying i had already won an XDL championship before.
and i agree totally with the getting creative with the travel. i know the stunt world is more profficient and on top of its game than ever, but with the economy and bike sales as a whole being as down as they are.. it is gonna get harder for a lot of us to keep at it in the next year or so, and we need to not get discouraged and give up any time soon. it might seem like the rescue boat is passing by, but its not just trying to find a better way to pick us up.
all the riders out there who are working hard, practicing hard, and privateering it up to the max to continue to make XDL/Stuntwars competitions in general and the game keep getting bigger. big props keep at it!

so u can miss one event and still have the same chance at the end???
